Buckinghamshire council has made a delegated decision to agree the Ickford Neighbourhood Plan

Dear Martin,

I am writing to confirm that the Council has made a delegated decision to agree the Ickford neighbourhood plan examiner’s report recommendations, that the plan meets the basic conditions and can proceed to a referendum. The plan now has significant weight in planning decisions as per Paragraph: 107 Reference ID: 41-107-20200513 of the planning practice guidance.

I am in the process of notifying various officers and councillors of the Council.

The delegated decision will shortly be published on the Council’s website at https://www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk/ickford-neighbourhood-plan. Due to Covid 19 there wont be any wider publicity at this time we will come back to do that in the coming months once it is safe to have people inspecting documents in person in their local area and at the council offices.

The next step for the plan itself will be taking a Referendum version of the plan including all the examiners changes to a public vote in Ickford parish. There is no referendum until after 6 May 2021 as per the Government’s position  set out earlier this year on the staging of elections and referendums.

Kind regards,

David
